Spring is seen as a time of growth, the blossoming of flowers, that special smell of soil that has reached the temperature to flourish, renewal, new life being born.
But springtime promise must pass to summer growth; and summer growth to autumn fruitage.
A little Madness in the Spring by Emily Dickinson.
A little Madness in the Spring
Is wholesome even for the King,
But God be with the Clown --
Who ponders this tremendous scene --
This whole Experiment of Green --
As if it were his own!

Lips have been fun to look at and paint. Lips have always been a focal point of beauty and sensuality. Lips can wield power over men. Powerful men have been persuaded by the purr of a powerful set of Lips.
But men don't get turned on by just any lips. They are hopelessly attracted to plump, luscious, and kissable lips. Full lips are also hallmarks of youth and fertility -- things that men of any age are always attracted to.
Here is a poem I ran across on the web that had parts of it that spoke to me in a way that I could not express myself to another on what I've seen when I have looked at a pair of Lips that had "that" something. You may seen a pair as well.
From the poem Cowry Shell, by Hertz Nazaire.
Something about your lips,
sweet flower that is your face...
gentle lines of your jaw...
curves of your chin...
roundness of your cheeks...
something about your lips...
calms me...
don't think badly of me...
Lips have been worshiped, long before my madness...

The very Breath of Nefertiti -
still it is... That Something about your lips that trips me...

Women's lips are at the top of the list when it comes to female body parts that are giant turn-ons for men. They outrank even full breasts, a gorgeous ass, or shapely legs, according to a report in AskMen.com, a men's portal with 5 million readers a month.
Having full, luscious lips is one of the little-known secrets to becoming irresistible to men. It carries with it an awesome seductive power that a woman can wield over men...
Where does creativity come from? How do we find our best ideas, our greatest expressions of intellect and imagination? What goes on in our minds is as individual as we are - yet it has the power to define our lives and change the world. From artists and authors to musicians. When verbal expressions can sometimes be fragmented, Art can be a meaningful form of expression and communication.
Joan Armatrading, Singer, songwriter, says:
Everyday conversations can be an incredible source of inspiration. A person could say something trivial - just a word or a phrase - and it can become a song.
Benjamin Zephaniah, Poet, Says:
This is going to sound pretty depressing. When I first started hearing poetry and creating poetry in my head, my mother was bringing tapes from Jamaica and I was hearing these strange voices with this strange accent. But what motivated me to start thinking politically and putting my poetry into words was the image of a starving child in the Biafran war.
Darcey Bussell, Principal ballerina, Royal Ballet, says:
I am inspired mainly by bright colours and beautiful views. When you live in a big city with long winters, I think you need them to revive your enthusiasm for life. I particularly love red and pink together, although the combination may not appeal to some people.
Can we detect and understand nonverbal communication by reading a face?
What message or messages does each face and expression convey? Are these messages about feelings, state of mind, or something else? Can we describe what features of the face contain the signs that allow us to understand the message?
Historically, portrait paintings have primarily memorialized the rich and powerful. Over time, however, it became common for most anyone to become subject matter.
Capturing the expression of a given face at a specific time is a composite of several sources of inspiration. These could include the general shape, size, coloration, pose, the facial features and so forth. Most inspiration comes from the moment, an event, an adventure, a situation, a face in the crowd. At times inspired by admiration or affection for the person.
Author and artist Gordon C. Aymar states, "the eyes are the place one looks for the most complete, reliable, and pertinent information" about the subject. And the eyebrows can register, "almost single-handedly, wonder, pity, fright, pain, cynicism, concentration, wistfulness, displeasure, and expectation, in infinite variations and combinations.
Aristotle stated, "The aim of Art is to present not the outward appearance of things, but their inner significance; for this, not the external manner and detail, constitutes true reality."
Count Balthazar was so pleased with a portrait Raphael had painted of his wife that he told the artist, "Your imageā¦alone can lighten my cares. That image is my delight; I direct my smiles to it, it is my joy.
An Artist can paint a visual impression of what he sees and not of what he knows. He looks and feels the whole environment. We use light and shadow, values and tones, colors, edges and textures to achieve the desired results. Visual recall is important for the artist to successfully capture a fleeting moment in time.
We have moved those "Faces" over to our sister site: Booming Art Student.com. Click below to be magically transported across the world wide web to the site with the Galleries. Lots of fun content, come on over.
Galleries sell expensive paintings to those that can afford them. That has changed. We are an introduction for collectors - a much less intimidating solution for those who have a strong interest in contemporary art - and can afford to buy it - but are busy or uneasy about visiting traditional galleries. This is a great resource for beginning and seasoned collectors. You skip the middle man so you get much better prices than in a gallery. A wonderful collection of original art for sale directly from the artist.
My goal is to create art that will bring joy to you and others as they view them in their homes or offices.
Art improves our surrounding, provides cultural benefits and enrichment. Viewing art can stimulate creative thinking, help soothe stress, cope with daily pressures or extreme situations. Art is truly universal. Thats one of arts greatest strengths - it can benefit everyone and every industry. This makes works of art ideal for every home, office and business.
All works of Art you buy from Haney Art will have an original Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Artist.
